[] 1Remove snap ring retaining pinion to shaftRemove pinion[] 2Remove nut securing solenoid strap to starter postRemove strap from post

3Remove the screws securing bracket and solenoid to starterRemove bracket and solenoid

4Mark the end cap and brush holder cap orientationRemove the thru-bolts
