Starter Circuit Check Chart INotel Battery must be fully charged
Procedure
Check voltage between ground
Steps" thru Remove starter to solenoid cable from Ci) to prevent starter engagement while making checks
Remove black lead from ground at CDConnect voltmeter between CD and common engine groundTurn key to START positionVoltmeter should show battery voltageConnect meter at START position
aIf no reading, go to Step
bIf meter reads battery voltage, reconnect black lead to ground and go to Step
II Check voltage between ground

aIf meter reads battery voltage, lead is open between CD and
key OFF before connecting and disconnecting meterTurn key to START position after connectingConnect meter atTurn key to START position
bIf no reading, go to Step
