Bearing Housing Assembly Servicing 1Remove water pump assembly from jet housing rn 2Remove housing assembly from jet housingscrews, four bearing housing retaining remove bearing
3Remove retaining ring with retaining ring pliersWear safety glasses and proceed with care to avoid unsnapping the ring from the pliers4Remove O-rings from housing and discard
rn 5Warm bearing carrierwith propane torch to aid in housing removal of upper seal
INotel Do not apply too much heat as seals or carrier may be
damaged
6Allow bearing housing to cool until it is warm to the touch
7Place bearing housing assembly in pressPress from the impeller end ofthe driveshaft until the seal carrier is free from the housingContinue to press bearings and driveshaft from bearing housing
