m 2Apply CJv1C Adhesive Position twotonew seals exhaust sealant the lower on the housing seals' inner surfaces housingApply ow: Triple-Guard grease to the seals' outer surfaces and position the housing on the gearcase

3Rotate the propeller shaft and shift the gearcase to FORWARDSlide the gearcase into place, making sure the driveshaft engages the crankshaft, the water tube enters the water pump, and the lower inner exhaust housing does not slip out of position

4Apply ow: Gasket Sealing Compoundto threads of the gearcase retaining screwsInstall the screws and tighten to the following torques:
