4Inspect float needle and seat for wear or distortionReplace both pieces if necessary
5Float should be parallel with the separator cover for correct float height6Adjust the float drop with vapor separator cover in normal positionThe drop dimension to the bottom of float should be between 1-11132 in(32-34 mm)

7Check the hoses and connections for damage
Assembly

1Attach the vapor separator cover to the bracket, and tighten screws in an "X" pattern to 18-24 inIbs(2-3 Nm)2Attach the vapor pump assembly to the vapor separator, and tighten screws to 18-24 inIbs(2-3 Nm)3Install the fuel filter assembly in the bracket and tighten to 15 inIbs(1,7 Nm)
