Shift Lock Out Adjustment
1Move shift lever to NEUTRAL position

2Loosen retaining screw Align the shift detent bracket and the throttle tower shaft until they are parallel3Tighten retaining screw
4Check the adjustment by shifting to FORWARD and REVERSE and then back to NEUTRALThe manual starter should not engage when the shift lever is in the FORWARD or REVERSE position5Start engine and allow it to reach operating temperatureVerify engine running quality
