Disassembly
1Remove the propeller or test wheel from the gearcaseInspect the condition of the propeller hub
2Drain the gearcase by removing first the oil level plugthen the oil filldrain plug CD3Remove the copper water tube from either the water pump or the exhaust housing
rn 4Remove the four impeller housing and off the driveshaftscrews with washersSlide the impeller housing and impeller up
Remove the impeller drive pin Q)
5Pry under the impeller plate to loosen itSlide the plate up and off the driveshaftScrape all gasket material from the plate, gearcase, and impeller housing6Slide the driveshaft out of the gearcase
