Removal

1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads2Remove the shoulder screw and spacer from end of the throttle cable
3Remove cotter pin throttle arm

and two washers from

4Remove bracket and connector from throttle cable
5Separate the 5-pin Amphenol connectorRemove the stop button lead from the plug using CIVIC Socket Removal Tool, PIN 322699
