6Install the throttle control plate on outer handle
7Place the throttle end cap into inner handleThe tab on the cap goes into the recess of the inner handle
8Push the throttle cable pin through the end of the throttle cable9Lubricate end ofthe pin, guides, rollers, helix grooves, and inner handle guide slot with OMC Moly LubePlace the guides over the roller pin and into the slots of the inner handlePlace the rollers on the ends of the roller pin
10Assemble the helix halves on the handle and slide the grip over the helixBe sure the twist-grip's speed indicator line is positioned with the speed range symbol on the handleSnap the grip into place11Turn the idle speed adjustment knob counterclockwise to the minimum slow speed position12Slide the protective sleeve over the stop switch leads and throttle cableSlide grommet over the protective sleeve until 12 in(12 mm) of the sleeve is exposedPlace grommet in position and install stop switch bracket
