Jet Drive Servicing Removal and Disassembly
1To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist and remove all spark plug leads2Remove nutflat washerand shift cable end reverse gate cam
3Remove cable by rotating shift cable to vertical position and removing the adjusting nut and cable from the shift cable anchor4Remove six screws retaining the intake hous ng to the jet housingRemove the intake housing
rn 5Bend tab-lock washer ears and remove impeller nut Remove tab-lock washer and discard6Note the number and placement of impeller shimsRefer to Impeller Clearance AdjustmentRemove impeller adjustment shims from driveshaft[] 7Remove the impeller from the driveshaftRetain the impeller key and impeller sleeve 8As soon as the impeller is free of the driveshaft, check to see if any shims were above impellerIf so, note their number and placement for reassembly, then remove them
