Installation
1Inspect bushing in the timer base and inspect powerhead timer base bossBoth surfaces must be free of dirt, metal chips, and scratches[l]
2Align adapter with threaded holes in powerheadSlotted area of adapter must face starboard side3Install adapter mounting screwsTorque screws to 48-60 inIbs(5,5-7 Nm)
[] 4Apply OMC Moly Lube grease around powerhead boss and timer base bushingand into retainer groove 5Lubricate timer base retainer with outboard lubricant
