won't separate hose and fitting, carefully cut the hose along its side and peel it back to avoid damaging the fittings"LOW OIL" Signal complete procedure for testing the "LOW OIL" circuit can be found in Installation Recommendations, this section"NO OIL" Signal 1Connect shop tank with 50: fueloil mixture to the fuel inlet fitting2Carefully, cut the oil supply hose from the pump oil inlet fitting3Start the engine and run it at 1000 RPM, in gear4After the residual oil is exhausted from the pump, the System Check gauge "NO OIL" light should turn on, and the warning horn should sound for ten seconds If the circuit does not activate within ten minutes, check for battery voltage at purple lead, connector terminal"D", when engine is running, and check the tachometer circuitRe er to Tachometer Circuit Check, Section 8f If the circuit does not activate within ten minutes and there is battery voltage present at the pump, and the tachometer circuit is okay, check the warning system as described in 8, System Check Engine Monitor If battery voltage is present at the pump, the tachometer circuit is okay, and the warning.system is okayrepair or replace the pump5Trim end of oil hose and secure it to the pumpDO NOT prime oil hoseRun engine at 1000 RPM to verify "NO OIL" signal disappears If "NO OIL" signal does not disappear, repair or replace the pumpNotel When testing is complete, be sure all oil hose connections
