Throttle Control Rod 1With the engine not running, ensure that the idle speed screw is firmly against its stop and both carburetor throttle plates are closed rn
2Rotate the socket on the throttle control rod to obtain 0.020 in (0,5 mm) gap between the throttle cam and cam follower
3Install the throttle control rod socket on throttle cam and verify gapWide-Open Throttle Stop

2The carburetor throttle shaft pins vertical at wide-open throttle
must be exactly
[]] 3Loosen the locknut and adjust the W.OT stop screw to adjust pin orientation to exactly vertical4Tighten the locknut and recheck pin wide-open throttle

Throttle Cable Installation Tiller Models 1Turn idle speed adjustment knob fully counterclockwise to minimum slow speed position
