MANUAL RELEASE 1The engine can be manually raised or lowered through its entire trim and tilt range by opening the manual release valveTo operate the manual release valve, turn valve slowly counterclockwise with screwdriver until it lightly contacts its retaining ringabout 3'2 turns
2When the manual release valve is open and the engine is manually lowered, fluid flows from below the cylinder pistonbypasses the UP check valvepasses through the manual release valveand flows into the reservoir through the passage As the cylinder piston moves down, the filter valve opens and allows fluid to flow to the top of the cylinder
