QuikStart Electronic Starting This ignition system incorporates QuikStart electronic starting, which automatically advances ignition timing when engine temperature is less than 1050 (41 C) and for approximately seconds each time the engine is started, independent of temperatureOnce QuikStart electronic starting has been canceled by engine temperature, the engine must be turned off before the ignition advance cycle can be repeatedQuikStart electronic starting also incorporates an RPM limit that cancels the ignition advance when the engine speed exceeds approximately 1500 RPMFunctional Test 1Install correct test propeller and start engine in testtankEngine temperature must be above 1050 (41 C) before proceedingStop the engineengine linkage adjustments must be correct and idle RPM must be normal before proceedingRefer to Synchronization and Linkage Adjustments, Section 1
