Drive Belt Replacement
1 To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist
and remove all spark plug leads
1Remove flywheel nut using Snap-on A-144 fixture, or equivalent, and F16 insocket2Loosen upper and lower idler housing pivot screws
3Loosen adjustment rod locknuts and release tension on power steering belt4Remove screws, pulley to flywheel
5Apply OMC Moly Lube grease to the threads of ONIC Puller Pressing Screw, PIN 307637, and to centering hole of crankshaft6Assemble from OMC Universal Puller Set, PIN 378103: Body, PIN 307636 Screw, PIN 307637 Handle, PIN 307638 Screws, PIN 309492 Washers, PIN 307640
[[] 7Install puller with body flat side upSeat shoulder screws completelyHold puller by its handle and tighten pressing screw until flywheel releases8Replace drive belt9Clean the crankshaft and flywheel tapers with ONIC Cleaning Solvent and let air dry[] 10Align the flywheel keyway and install flywheelCoat the threads of new retaining nut with OMC Gasket Sealing CompoundInstall the nut and torque to 140-150 ft.lbs(190-204 Nm)
