15Install 0.030 inof shims and the thrust bearing in the flange, and install on the forward gear16Install set screws and tighten to 144-168 inIbs(16-19 Nm)Use no thread sealant17Anchor dial indicator gauge to flat, level surface
18Position the gear assembly so the indicator needle makes contact with the flange on the housing The indicator needle must be parallel with the side of the gear housing and perpendicular to the table surfaceZero the dial indicator
