15Pull the clutch shaft out of the housing and slide the clutch dog off the rear of the shaftThe detent balls inside the rear of the shaft are not serviced and are available only as an assembly with the clutch shaft 1141
16Lift the reverse gearthrust bearingand thrust washer off the bearing housing
INotel Do not remove the bearing inside the reverse gearIt is not serviced separately and is available only as an assembly with reverse gear
17V6Push the shifter pivot pin out of the housingPull out the shift shaft, cradle, and shifterLift shifter and cradle off shift shaft18V8Lift the shift shaft and cradle out of the housingRemove the pivot pin and the shifter out of the housing19Remove the 25 loose needles from inside the bearing housing
