Starter Rope Replacement

1Wear safety glasses while servicing the manual starter
[[] 2Pull the starter rope until it is completely unwoundUsing C-clamp and wood blocks, clamp the starter pulley in this position[] 3Untie the knot in the starter rope and remove rope

4Remove the rope anchor from the starter handle
5Separate rope from anchor and discard rope6Cut new rope to length of 96112 in(245 cm)Fuse ends of rope to length of '2 in(12 mm)
[]] 7Using OVIC Rope Threading Tool, PIN 378774, thread the rope through the starter handle
