42Position the starter lockout lever assembly on the housingTorque retaining screws to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)DR2221
43Inspect the starter lockout levers for damage and wear
44If required, replace the lockout components as follows: Coat the shaft with OMC Triple-Guard grease Place the thicker flat washer on shaft Place lower lockout lever Place springs
