the throttle cable from the throttle control arm and the cable trunnion pocket before beginning this procedure
Timing Pointer
1Remove all spark plugs
2Center the timing pointer Rotate the flywheel in clockwise direction until the cast-in TDC mark is approximately 1112 in(4 em) past the timing pointer
rn andInstall in center portion PIN 384887, in No.1No.1 piston3OMC Piston Stop, spark plug turn until it contacts the hole
Lock the tool in place with ring
4While holding the flywheel firmly against the tool, mark the flywheel directly across from the pointerConsider this mark "A"5Continue to turn the flywheel in clockwise direction until piston contact is felt againMark this exact spot on the flywheel and consider this mark "B"Remove the piston stop tool
