Deutsch Connector Servicing
INote The Deutsch pin and socket terminals are not the same size
as Ampheno pin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange themDisconnect Press latchpull connectors apartConnect
Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasedirt from connectorsApply light coat of OMC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latched
Terminal Removal
Use hook-end of OMC Connector Service Tool, PIN 342667, to pull out wedge from receptacle, or use other end of tool to pry out wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacleRelease terminal latch orgently pull on wire
Terminal Installation Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heardFill connector with OMC Electrical Grease to below ledge or end of plug 132
