2If removed, install thrust washer CD on drive end of armature shaft
3Install new gasket on brush end cap and drive end cap, if required
4Assemble drive end cappinionanti -drift springand spacer to drive end of armature shaftInstall new locknutUsing strap wrench to prevent damage to armature, torque nut to 20-25 ftIbs(27-34 Nm)5Assemble armature to frame and magnet assembly, aligning marks on drive cap end and frame
6Use external snap ring pliers to hold brushes apart and install end of armature shaft in brush end capAlign marks on end cap and frame
