Make no dry assembliesLubricate bearings, shafts, and gear with OMC Ultra-HPF gearcase lubebearing housing using OMC Bearing Installer, PIN 339751Press against the lettered side of the bearing when installing
OJ 1Oil the small bearing and install it in the propeller shaft
2Oil the large bearing and install it in the propeller shaft bearing housing using OMC Bearing Installer, PIN 339751Press against the lettered side of the bearing when installing3Use OMC Seal Installer, PIN 342663, to install new seal in the rear of the bearing housingApply DPL Penetrating Lubricant to the casing of the seal before installingInstall the seal with the exposed lip facing away from the bearing housingPress the seal into the housing until the tool seatsApply OMC Triple-Guard grease to the seal lips after installing32560
