16Apply OMC Gel-Seal I to mating surfaces of cylinder block and crankcaseApply oil to threads of block to crankcase screws and attach block to crankcaseTorque small screws to 84-106 inIbs(10-12 Nm) and large screws to 18-21 ftIbs(24-28 Nm) in sequence shown17Apply OMC Gasket Sealing Compound to casing of new upper crankshaft seal, and oil to the seal lips
