Key Switch Function
1With the engine key switch in OFF position, the tester IGNITION light should be off If the IGNITION light is on, troubleshoot the blackyellow and blackwhite circuits for an open, and check the key switch
2Turn the engine key switch to ON position, the tester SWITCHED B+ and IGNITION lights should turn on If the SWITCHED B+ light does not turn on, troubleshoot the redpurple and purple circuits for an open, and check the key switch If the IGNITION light does not turn on, troubleshoot for short between the blackyellow and blackwhite circuits, and check the key switch
rn 3Rotate the propeller shaft and move control handle to FORWARD gear positionThe tester START light should not turn
on when the key switch is in START positionRotate the propeller shaft and move control handle to REVERSE gear positionThe tester START light should not turn on when the key switch is in START position If the START light turns on when the control handle is in FORWARD or REVERSE, troubleshoot the neutral start switch and yellowred circuitCheck the key switch and remote control for adjustment
