10Coat the shift rod a-ring with ClVIC Triple-Guard grease and install in shift rod bushing[]] 11Place new washer and bushing on ClVIC Shift Rod Bushing Installer, PIN 304515Apply ClVIC Gasket Sealing Compound to the outside diameter of the shift rod bushingUsing mallet, drive the bushing into the gearcase12Oil and place the forward bearing cone and roller assembly in the forward bearing cup 13To install the forward gear and the shifter lever and yoke assembly, begin by threading ClVIC Yoke Locator, PIN 319991, through the shift rod bushing and into the shifter yokeRemove the cradle from the yokeThen, while pulling on the yoke locator, guide the assembly into the gearcaseThe forward gear should come to rest against the forward bearing, and the shift lever should be located in the slot at the bottom of the gearcase[]] 14Position one pinion thrust washer on the pinionOil and install the thrust bearing Install the other thrust washer on the pinion[]] 15Install the pinion in the gearcase
