4Remove the nut from the starter pawl retaining screw
1sl 5Remove the starter pawl retaining screwwasherand
starter pawl plate starter assembly
with plate return spring from the
71 6Remove the starter housing spring and the starter pawl
with spring washer
the starter assembly
181 7Using screwdriver, pry open the pulley lock ring Q) and
remove ring from the starter
Remove the friction plates washer (1)
and friction plate spring
