3 STEPSTOP CIRCUIT TEST
Elimination Test 1Disconnect 5-pin Amphenol connector between stator assembly and power pack
rJl 2Eliminate stop circuit by inserting jumper wires in the "A", "8", "C", and "0" terminals of bot connectors&
To avoid possible shock hazard, do not handle ignition coils or spark tester during cranking tests
3Crank engine and observe results at spark tester If spark now jumps alternately at each gap, the probl em is in the stop circuitGo to Ohmmeter TestStop Button or Ohmmeter TestKey Switch If some spark is present, go to STEPSENSOR COIL TEST If no spark is present, go to STEPCHARGE COIL TEST4Complete all circuits disconnected during this test
