Deutsch Connector Servicing
INote The Deutsch pin and socket terminals are not the same
size as Amphenolpin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange them
Disconnect Press latchpull connectors apartConnect Check that seal is in placeClean off old greaseldirt from connectorsApply light coat of CIVIC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latched
Terminal Removal
rn Use hook-endoffrom receptacle, or use other end of342667, OIIIC Connector Service Tool, PIN to pull out wedge tool to
pry out wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacleRelease terminal latch orgently pull on wire
Terminal Installation Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heard
rn Fillledge or end of plugElectrical Grease to connector with CIVIC below
