Exhaust Housing Service Removal and Disassembly 1Remove the powerhead as described in Section 42Remove the gearcase as described in Section 6
3Move the shift lever to allow access to the shift rod and bellcrankRemove the bellcrank clip
4Slide the shift rod off the bellcrank pin Make note of which way the offset in the shift rod faces for reassembly (offset to the rear)Remove the shift rod from the exhaust housing
