43Apply OMC Gel-Seal" sealant to the crankcase mating flange of the cylinder blockThe application must cover the flange evenly and consistently without being excessiveThe application must not come within in(6,4 mm) of crankcase seal rings or bearingwhen stored at room temperatureTest the OMC Gel-Seal" sealant or replace it if the age of the tube cannot be determinedUsing old OMC Gel-Seal I sealant could cause crankcase air leaks
INote OMC Gel-Seal" sealant has shelf life of at least one year
