Speed Control Switch ServiceExcept HBF2 Rem oval
[] 1Push plastic shaft back from the switch with flat blade screwdriver[] 2Loosen the nut retaining the speed control switch
3Remove the switch from the mounting bracket and unsolder wires
[] 4If required, the speed control wheel can be removed by pushing the plastic shaft out of the wheel and pedalInstallation
[] 1Attach the switch wires using the diagram at the end of this section for correct wire routing and locations2Use only rosin core solderDo not use acid core solder[] 3Install the switch in the pedalPosition lock washer between switch and pedalPosition nut on switch shaft4Tighten the nut to torque of 40-45 in Ibs(4,5-5,1 Nm)
