Steering Cable ReplacementExcept HBF2 Removal
1Remove the four screws retaining the steering housing coverRemove the cover
rn 2Remove the steering cable set screw3Push down on heel of foot pedal to extend steering cable
rn 4Lift the steering gear off of the pivot post5Unthread the steering gear and set it aside6Cut the sleeve to separate the steering cable from the electrical cable
When cutting the sleeve, be careful not to damage the electrical wires7Remove the E-ring retaining the cable to the foot pedal8Remove nut from pivot pin
