12Turn motor parallel with steering housingAlign index mark on rack with center of pinion, and place rack in mesh with pin ion Fit steering cable sleeve into notch in rack base
13Position cover on rackHold down cover and install screwsInstall long (silver colored) screws at locations marked "L"Install short (brass colored) screws at locations marked "S"Tighten screws to 7-10 inIbs(0,8-1,1 Nm)14With motor pointing straight ahead, and no twist in the wires, connect wi ring harness wires to same color motor wires using splices15Secure wires together with tie strap close to the direction indicator location16Turn motor straight aheadand place cover on steering housing with direction indicator pointing straight ahead17Tighten cover screws to 7-10 inIbs(0,8-1,1 Nm)
