14Apply OVIC Triple-Guard grease to washer nd pivot postPlace washer on post15Line up index mark on steering gear with index mark on pinion flangeEngage steering gear teeth with pinion and slide steering gear down on pivot post16Apply CIVIC Screw Lock to steering cable set screwPosition steering cable and install set screw17Turn motor to straight-ahead position, and connect electrical wires as shown on wiring diagram in this sectionWires must be connected with the motor at the straight-ahead position so they will not be pulled tight and damaged when motor is turned 1800 in either direction
