3Slide the adjustment ring, bearing, and race onto the motor tubeLubricate the bearing with ONIC Triple-Guard grease
4Place the steering housing and mounting tube assembly onto the motor tube
5Apply OMC Triple-Guard grease to the steering housing ball bearing and place it in the bearing cup6Position the pinion on the motor tubeAlign the dent in the motor tube with the set screw on the pinion7Install the retaining pin using suitable press
Be sure the electrical wires are not damaged by the retaining pin as it is pressed in place
8Install the driver on the pinion retaining pin9Apply OMC Screw Lock to pinion set screw and installTighten set screw to 8-12 inIbs(0,9-1,4 Nm)
