Assembly
1Position steering housing and ring on the motor tubeAlign the set screws with existing dents in motor tube and tighten screws securely2Solder the motor leads in place on the switchesRefer to wiring diagram at the end of this section for correct wire locations
3Position the forwardreverse switch and secure with two screws
Always turn thread forming screw backwards until screw drops into the original threadsbefore turning screw forwardIf screw is allowed to form new theads with each use, screw will deform material until the screw pulls out4Apply OMC Triple-Guard grease to the spring on the rotary switch and to the control handle5Install the control handle and the stop
