Continuity TestPositive Circuit, 1224-Volt Hand Control Models
INotel To avoid damaging components or troubleshooting equipm ent, disconnect the battery cables before proceeding1Use an ohmmeter calibrated on high ohms scale or continuity li ght to test continuity2Connect one meter lead
to RED battery cable
rn 3Connectof 1224-Volt switch: to RED 12-Gabattery cable second meter lead at battery side
The meter must show continuity
4Move first meter lead
to WHITE
battery cable
5Connect second meter lead to WHITE 12-Gabattery cable at battery side of 1224-Volt switch:
The meter must show continuity If meter shows no continuity in either test, repair or replace battery cable
6Move 1224-Volt switch to "12 V" position
rn 7Connect switchmeter lead second forwardreverse
