Continuity TestPositive Circuit, 12-Volt Standard Foot Control, Except HBF2 Models INotel To avoid damaging components or troubleshooting equipment, disconnect the battery cables before proceeding1Use an ohmmeter calibrated on high ohms scale or continuity light to test continuity2Connect one meter lead to RED battery cableLeave this meter lead connected for all the following tests[] 3Connect second meter lead to the RED 8-Ga lead at the foot pedal terminal strip: The meter must show continuity If meter shows no continuity, repair or replace battery cables 4Connect second meter lead to the RED 16-Galead at terminal "A" of the speed control switchDepress the ONOFF switch: The meter must show continuity If meter shows no continuity, replace ONOFF switch or wiring
