INote To avoid damaging components or troubleshooting equipment, disconnect the battery cables before proceeding1Turn speed control variable resister to low (full clockwise looking from shaft end)
2Remove the steering housing cover
III 3Remove light bulb from socket
4Use an ohmmeter calibrated on high ohms scale or continuity light to test the condition of the motor tube wiring
5Connect the ohmmetertest light between the RED 14-Gaand BLACK 14-GaleadsThe ohmmetertest light should show low resistance or continuity If your test shows high resistance or no continuity, and motor does not operate, check Continuity TestPositive Circuit and Negative Circuit, P.W.MModels, this section, and Electric Motor Assembly, Section 5
