i and remove all spark plug leads
To avoid accidental starting of engine while servicing, twist
4Remove six screws, pulley to flywheel
5Apply OMC Moly Lube grease to the threads of OMC Puller Pressing Screw, PIN 307637, and to centering hole of crankshaft6Assemble from OMC Universal Puller Set, PIN 378103: Body, PIN 307636 Screw, PIN 307637 Handle, PIN 307638 Screws, PIN 309492 Washers, PIN 307640
1sl 7Install puller with body flat side upSeat shoulder screws completelyHold puller by its handle and tighten pressing screw until flywheel releases8Replace drive belt9Clean the crankshaft and flywheel tapers with OMC Cleaning Solvent and let air dry1sl 10Align the flywheel keyway and install flywheelCoat the threads of new retaining nut with OMC Gasket Sealing CompoundInstall the nut and torque to 140-150 ftIbs(190-204 Nm)rJl 11Install the six pulley screws and torque to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)12Adjust drive belt tensionRefer to Belt Tension Procedure, this section13Recheck reservoir fluid level after ten minutes at 800 RPM and several cycles ofthe steering systemFill as necessaryTorque the dipstick to 50-60 inIbs(6-7 Nm)
