Deutsch Connector Servicing
INote The Deutsch pin and socket terminals are not the same
size as Amphenol pin and socket terminalsYou cannot interchange themDisconnect
Press latchpull connectors apartConnect
Check that seal is in placeClean off old greasedirt from connectorsApply light coat of OMC Electrical Grease to sealPush connectors together until latchedTerminal Removal
rn Use hook-endoffrom receptacle, or use other endNof342667, OMC Connector Service Tool, PI to pullout wedge tool to
[] Release terminal latch or
Terminal Installation
pry out wedge from plugUse needle-nose pliers to remove wedge from 3-pin receptacle
pull on wire
Push terminal through seal until it clicks into placeTwist and tug wire if no click is heard
Fill connector with OMC Electrical Grease to below ledge or end of plug
