ONIC Seal Installer, PIN 341439Apply oil to casing of the seal
before installingPlace back of seal against tool and install it until tool is seated29Apply ONIC Triple-Guard grease to the seal lip after installing30Apply ONIC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to the thrust bearing Position bearing around shoulder on the propeller shaft31Apply ONIC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to the thrust washer Place washer in recess of bearing housing

surfaces of propeller shaft with gearcase oilSlide the propeller housing on the propeller shaftUse caution when assembling the propeller shaft in the bearing housingThrust bearing must remain around shoulder on the propeller shaft33 Lightly oil the threads of the forward gear assemblyCarefully start the threads in the housing and screw it in by hand as far as possibleTighten the gear assembly to 100 ftIbs(136 Nm) using ONIC Spanner Wrench, PIN 432400 (V6) or PI 432399 (V8)34Attach the anode and tighten the screws to 170-190 inIbs(19-21 Nm)
