spring with punch while pushing the detent lever into the housingrl10Position the shift lever in the housing, then rotate the detent lever to engage the shift leverInstall the pin through the housing and shift leverNext, push the detent lever down all the wayrl11Apply OMC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to the 25 forward gear needle bearings and position the bearings in the bearing race12Apply OMC Needle Bearing Assembly Grease to the shifter shaft, then install the cradle and shaft assembly on the shift lever
Grease to the thrust bearing and thrust washerInstall the thrust bearing on shoulder of the forward gearInstall the thrust washer on shoulder of the bearing housingPlace the forward gear into the bearing housingMake sure the thrust bearing is between the thrust washer and forward gearshown
