position3Untie the knot in the starter rope and remove rope4Remove the rope anchor from the starter handle5Separate rope from anchor and discard rope
6Cut new rope to length of 96112 in(245 cm) Fuse ends of rope to length of 112 in(12 mm)1al 7Using OMC Rope Threading Tool, PIN 378774, thread the rope through the starter handlef21 8Place the starter rope in the rope anchorPosition the anchor in the handlef41 9Insert the rope through the starter handle bracket, rope guide, and into the starter pulley10Tie knot into the rope cavity of the starter pulley.11 Insert the knot into the rope cavity of the starter pulley12Carefully loosen the C-clamp and slowly allow the rope to recoil
