Installation

1If the flywheel ratchet has been removed, install and torque to 10-12 ftIbs(14-16 Nm)
2Position the starter assembly on the engine

Place the correct sequence of washers and bushings between the starter handle bracket and air silencer baseInstall the retaining screws finger tight4Install the starter housing screws and torque to 10-12 ftIbs(14-16 Nm)5Torque the bracket retaining screws to 60-84 inIbs(7-9 Nm)
rn:TI 6Position the lockout slide in the starter housing groove1521 7Install lockout cable clampTighten screw securely
