5 Disassembly
1Remove the starter lockout lever assembly
2Pull out and knot the starter rope
W 3Allow the rope to rewind into the starter housing until the
knot is against the housing
4Remove the rope anchor from the starter handle
5Remove the rope from the anchorSlide starter handle off rope
rn 6Remove two screws, bracket to starter housing[] 7Remove the timing pointer and pulley support
8Wear safety glasses while servicing the manual starter
