Ohmmeter Test
INote All ohmmeter tests must be performed with engine not running1Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scale
[!TI 2Attach ohmmeter black lead to timer base connector, terminal "E"r:J1l 3attach red lead to each terminal in the timer base connectorObserve meter reading at each connection Meter must show 40 10 ohmsf121 4To test for grounded conditionconnect ohmmeter alternately between each timer base terminal location and clean engine ground Meter must show high reading If meter shows low reading, locate and repair ground or replace timer base 5Complete all circuits disconnected during this test
