Ohmmeter Test INotel All ohmmeter tests must be performed with engine not running1Insert jumper wires into stator' forward connector, terminals "A" and "8"2Calibrate ohmmeter on appropriate scaleConnect between jumpers Meter must show 850 85 ohms3Repeat Steps and using stator's rear 2-pin connectorf11l 4T: test for grounded condition, connect ohmmeter alternately between each jumper and clean engine ground Any needle movement indicates charge coil or leads are grounded Locate and repair ground, or replace stator assembly5Repeat Step using stator's rear 2-pin connector6Complete all circuits disconnected during this test
